Metro 2039 preorders open October 13 with three physical editions up to €299.99

Preorders for Metro 2039 are expected to launch on October 13, 2026, according to insider billbil-kun, with the publisher Deep Silver remaining silent on official confirmation. The game will launch February 4, 2027, across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.

Three physical editions have been detailed by the leaker. The Day One Edition, priced at €69.99 (£59.99), includes the base game on disc for consoles—though internet download will be required for installation or play—plus preorder bonus DLC. The Deluxe Edition (€109.99 / £94.99) adds a steelbook case, hardcover art book, digital art book, digital soundtrack, and story DLC, with digital content provided as download codes. The Collector's Edition (€299.99 / £259.99) includes all Deluxe content plus a full-size wearable Spartan helmet replica, produced from the game's original 3D model and released in limited quantities with no disclosed run size.

PC physical copies will ship with a download code instead of a disc. The leaker expects preorders to open no later than October 14, following a series social media post teasing announcements for "next week." Developer 4A Games has previously confirmed the Collector's Edition in August 2026, though the Deluxe tier remains unconfirmed by the studio. Metro 2039 will feature the Stranger as the first fully voiced protagonist in the series, returning to a Moscow metro now controlled by the Novoreich. The developers stated that Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine influenced the plot toward a darker direction and led to the removal of Russian localization entirely, including subtitles.
