Jambi City Government Proposes 330 Civil Service Positions for 2026, Excludes Teacher Positions

The Jambi City Government has submitted a proposal for 330 civil service positions (CPNS) for 2026 to meet the needs of its State Civil Apparatus (ASN). However, the proposal notably excludes any teacher positions. Rizalul Fikri, Head of the Jambi City Personnel and Human Resources Development Agency (BKPSDMD), stated that the proposed number of positions is not guaranteed to receive full approval from the central government, as authorities will verify actual needs across all regional departments before determining final quotas. The 330 positions are allocated across various sectors within the city government administration. As of mid-June 2026, the Jambi City Government is awaiting official confirmation from the central government regarding the final allocation of positions for the region. The registration timeline for the 2026 civil service selection process has not yet been confirmed.
