Actress Manvii Gagru, known for her role in 'Four More Shots Please', recently opened up about a unsettling experience early in her career where she received a text message offering a project with the condition of '1 lakh rupees + compromise'. During an appearance on the podcast 'Two Girls and Two Cups', Gagru recounted how, as a newcomer without a film background, she initially did not understand the term 'compromise' in this context and replied to ask for clarification.

Upon showing the message to a casting director whom she considered her mentor, she was immediately advised to delete the message and block the sender. Gagru reflected that the incident highlighted the challenges faced by individuals without industry connections, whom she termed 'non-nepo kids'. She expressed surprise that such an explicit offer was made via text, noting that most people in such situations avoid leaving evidence and typically communicate by phone.

In addition to the 'compromise' offer, Gagru shared another incident from her early career involving a magazine photoshoot offer for its cover. Initially excited about the opportunity, she nearly accepted it. However, after her then-boyfriend advised her to research the magazine first, she discovered it was an adult magazine and promptly declined the offer.
