WBJEE 2026 Results Announced: Rank Cards Available from June 18

The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) officially declared the WBJEE 2026 results on June 18, 2026, during a press conference held at 1:30 PM. The results serve as the gateway for admission to undergraduate programmes in Engineering, Technology, Architecture, and Pharmacy across universities and colleges in West Bengal.

Candidates can download their rank cards from 4:00 PM onwards on the official WBJEEB websites: wbjeeb.nic.in and wbjeeb.in. The rank cards will include the candidate's name, application number, roll number, subject-wise scores, total score, General Merit Rank (GMR), and category rank where applicable. These ranks are crucial for the counselling and seat allocation process.

The WBJEE 2026 examination was conducted on May 24, 2026, and the press briefing provided details on overall candidate performance, merit rankings, and related statistics. The question paper is divided into three categories: Category 1 awards one mark per correct answer with a negative marking of one-fourth mark for wrong responses; Category 2 carries two marks per question with a negative marking of half a mark; Category 3 also carries two marks per question but has no negative marking, though incorrect options result in zero marks for that question. Partially correct answers in Category 3 are awarded marks proportionally if no incorrect option is chosen.

Qualified candidates will be eligible for the counselling process, the schedule for which will be announced by the board separately.
