Why This Matters
This severe weather warning directly impacts millions of residents across Kazakhstan's largest cities and 17 additional regions. The combination of extreme heat (33–39°C), powerful wind gusts (up to 20 m/s), hail, and dust storms poses serious risks to public safety, infrastructure, agriculture, and transportation. Residents and authorities need immediate preparation for potential power outages, property damage, and health hazards from heat exposure and air quality deterioration. Early warning from the State Hydrometeorological Service provides critical time for emergency response and protective measures.
