McDonald's Japan is launching the fourth phase of its 'Tokuni Narudo' campaign, featuring a special promotion on McFry Potatoes from June 22 to July 3, 2026. During this 12-day period, both M and L size portions of the popular side dish will be available at 250 yen, representing a maximum discount of 150 yen compared to regular prices of 350 yen or more for M size and 400 yen or more for L size.
The promotion encourages customers to pair the discounted potatoes with the newly launched 'Shakashaka Potato Garlic Steak Flavor,' which became available on June 17. This combination strategy aims to boost sales across complementary menu items while offering consumers enhanced value during the campaign period.
To further engage customers, McDonald's Japan is running a simultaneous promotional campaign on its official X account. The X campaign features two hashtag-based reply contests: the first runs from June 21 at 1:00 p.m. to 11:59 p.m. using the hashtag #ポテトML250円で超トクニナルド (Potato ML 250 Yen Super Tokuni Narudo), and the second runs from June 22 at 7:00 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. using #ポテトML250円は今だけ (Potato ML 250 Yen Only Now). Participants must follow McDonald's Japan official X account (@McDonaldsJapan) and reply to designated posts with the specified hashtags.
A total of 100 winners across the two-day campaign period will each receive a 1,000 yen McDonald's card (Makucard). The 'Tokuni Narudo' series, which rotates popular menu items at special prices throughout the year, continues to be promoted through television commercials featuring Japanese actor Masato Sakai as 'Mr. Tokuni Narudo.'
