Navarro defeats Golubic to advance to Nottingham Open final against Bouzkova

Emma Navarro of the United States advanced to the final of the Nottingham Open after defeating Switzerland's Viktorija Golubic in the semifinals. Seeded third, Navarro won in straight sets with a score of 7-6 in a tiebreak (7-5) and 6-2 in the second set.

Navarro's opponent in the final will be Marie Bouzkova of the Czech Republic, the fourth seed, who secured her place in the championship match by defeating fellow Czech player Karolina Pliskova. Bouzkova dominated her semifinal encounter, winning 6-4, 6-1.

In doubles action at the tournament, Shuko Aoyama of Japan and Hao-Ching Chan of Taiwan, seeded second, won their match against Maria Kozyreva and Iryna Shymanovich with a score of 5-7, 6-1, 10-8. Additionally, the mixed doubles pairing of Fernando Romboli and Theodore Winegar defeated Mac Kiger and Reese Stalder 6-3, 6-4. Christopher O'Connell of Australia also advanced in his match, defeating Finland's Otto Virtanen 7-6 (7-3), 7-6 (8-6).
