Police Investigate Alleged Intimate Act on Download Festival Ferris Wheel

Leicestershire Police have launched an investigation after footage emerged on social media appearing to show a couple engaging in an intimate act while riding a Ferris wheel at the Download festival in Donington Park, England. The incident reportedly took place on the evening of Saturday, June 13, shortly before headliners Guns N' Roses took the main stage.

The video, which spread widely across platforms such as Instagram and TikTok, sparked both controversy and a number of memes online. According to a witness who spoke to the Daily Star, other riders first believed the man was simply standing behind the woman with his arms around her. However, as the pod descended, someone shouted that they could see the woman's underwear pulled aside.

The witness added that the couple appeared to believe the glass cabin was tinted, but in reality it was spotless and clear. "I just hope they cleaned the cabin after they got out of it," the witness said.

Leicestershire Police stated they are aware of the video and are actively investigating the matter. Officers have been in contact with festival organizers and are working to identify and speak to the individuals involved. No arrests or charges have been made as of the time of publication.
