Nitori adds automatic detergent dispensing to sub-100,000-yen drum washer-dryer

Nitori has started selling an updated version of its drum-type washer-dryer, the ND100KL2, at stores nationwide and through its online shop from mid-June 2026. The model is priced at 99,900 yen including tax, keeping it below the 100,000-yen mark while adding new convenience features.

The new model includes automatic dispensing for liquid detergent and fabric softener, a low-temperature drying course designed to reduce fabric damage, and an auto-cleaning filter system for the drying function. Nitori said the changes are aimed at addressing common complaints about drum washer-dryers, including cost, space constraints and the time needed for washing and drying.

The appliance has a standard washing capacity of 10 kilograms and a standard drying capacity of 5 kilograms. Nitori is also offering both left-opening and right-opening door versions, giving customers more flexibility depending on home layout and laundry room setup.

According to the company, the compact body measures 600 millimeters wide, 857 millimeters high and 595 millimeters deep. Nitori also highlighted a 60-minute quick wash-and-dry course for about 2 kilograms of laundry, and said the machine comes with a five-year free warranty service after the standard manufacturer warranty period.
