Shakira will livestream her final Madrid concert from her Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran world tour on October 3, marking her first full-concert global broadcast. The performance, part of her ES Latina European Residency at Macondo Park, will air live on Amazon Music, Prime Video, Fire TV, and Twitch without requiring a subscription. Regional start times include 2:45 PM ET (United States), 12:45 PM (Mexico City), 3:45 PM BRT (Brazil), 8:45 PM CEST (Madrid), and 12:15 AM IST on October 4 (India).
The livestream serves as the centerpiece of The Women Shaping Latin Music, Amazon Music's 2026 annual celebration honoring women in Latin music. Accompanying the broadcast are new releases including a remix of Shakira's current hit "Dai Dai" and a 25th-anniversary vinyl edition of her 1999 album Laundry Service. An Amazon Music museum at the Madrid residency will feature interactive exhibits tracing Shakira's career, guided by Alexa+.
Beyond entertainment, Amazon Music and Shakira are launching initiatives supporting women entrepreneurs and technology education. Las Mujeres Facturan Con Amazon Music is an online storefront showcasing women-owned businesses, particularly Latina-owned brands. Las Mujeres Ayudan Con Amazon Music, developed with Shakira's nonprofit Fundación Pies Descalzos, Amazon Web Services, and the nonprofit Laboratoria, will provide free training in AI and cloud computing across Latin America entirely in Spanish, with a goal of reaching 1 million women by 2028. Women currently hold 26% of technology roles; the initiative targets 50% female participation.
Shakira stated: "The Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran world tour has become more than I could ever have imagined, and I am so proud of it. I'm so excited to take it even further by sharing this special evening with fans around the world, together with Amazon Music." On Amazon Music, "Dai Dai" ranks as the No. 1 song globally year-to-date in 2026, and Shakira is the most-listened-to Latina artist on the platform over the same period. Her Madrid residency runs from September 18 through October 11 at the Iberdrola Music venue and Macondo Park.
Why This Matters
The livestream removes geographic and subscription barriers to Shakira's Madrid residency finale, enabling simultaneous global access across multiple platforms at announced regional start times. Amazon Music simultaneously launches The Women Shaping Latin Music programming and workforce development initiatives targeting 1 million women across Latin America with AI and cloud computing training by 2028, directly affecting technology sector participation targets (currently 26% female, targeting 50%). The initiatives include a dedicated storefront for women-owned Latin businesses and a nonprofit partnership expanding digital skills training in Spanish.
