Gunde Ninda Gudi Gantalu Episode: Prabhavati’s Sadism Meets Meena’s Video Call Strategy, Sundari Enters Balu’s Life

In the latest episode of the popular Telugu series 'Gunde Ninda Gudi Gantalu' (June 17), the storyline took dramatic turns as Prabhavati attempted to sabotage Meena’s plans with her cunning antics, but Meena countered with a clever video call strategy. The episode also introduced Sundari, whose arrival stirred emotional reactions among the characters.

The episode began with Prabhavati physically lashing out at Balu, while Satyam’s friend Ranga visited the house. Ranga requested Satyam to bring his niece Sundari home from her hostel, as she had completed her BTech. Balu, upon hearing Sundari’s name, could not conceal his joy, reminiscing how she used to call him "Bava" (brother-in-law) and expressing excitement at her being of marriageable age. Meena, watching Balu’s over-the-top reaction, felt a pang of jealousy and pinched him in anger.

Meanwhile, Balu went to Sundari’s hostel to pick her up. Just as Sundari was exiting, she was seen speaking to a young man, presumably her lover. She quickly sent him away, claiming he was a friend, and lied to Balu to cover up the interaction. On the ride home, Sundari playfully teased Balu, saying, “If only you had waited a few more days, I would have married you myself.”

Back at the house, Meena received a large decoration order and began rushing through her chores, calling her friends to the job site and messaging Balu to bring flowers. Villain Chinthamani called Prabhavati, provoking her by warning that if Meena completed the big order, she would earn a lot and stop respecting Prabhavati. Determined to stop Meena, Prabhavati schemed to lock her in the house, first sending other family members like Manoj, Rohini, and her husband Satyam out, and then trying to push out Ravi and Shruti. During this, she accidentally revealed her motive to Ravi, blurting out that she had to block Meena, but quickly covered up.

Once everyone had left, Prabhavati feigned a sudden hand cramp, claiming she could not lift her arm. She insisted Meena take her to her room, then demanded an ice pack, hot water compress, and even soup, keeping Meena busy with these tasks. Meena, realizing her mother-in-law’s sadism, remained calm and called Balu via video, explaining the situation at home. Balu expressed concern about the decoration order, but Meena cleverly used video conferencing to direct the workers at the venue remotely, ensuring work continued without her physical presence.
