Honda Elevate Facelift Launches October 6 With Connected Lighting, Premium Cabin

Honda has opened pre-bookings for the 2026 Elevate Facelift across India, marking the first global market for the updated compact SUV. Customers can reserve the vehicle at authorised dealerships with a booking amount of 21,000 rupees ahead of the October 6 launch.

Exterior updates centre on a revised front design with a geometric-pattern grille, repositioned Honda logo moved from the grille to the bonnet, and new segmented LED daytime running lights. The rear gains connected LED tail lamps with illuminated strips extending across the tailgate, creating a visual connection between the outer lamps. The overall stance and proportions remain unchanged from the current model.

Inside, the facelift introduces ambient lighting throughout the cabin—previously available only as a dealer-installed accessory—along with revised dashboard trim featuring light-coloured stitched leatherette upholstery on the passenger side and matching door panel detailing. A slimmer central air vent design is also visible in official teasers. Infotainment and safety features are expected to see minor upgrades, with possible additions including ventilated front seats, a power-adjustable driver seat, and front parking sensors.

Powertrain options remain unchanged: a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated four-cylinder i-VTEC petrol engine producing 121 PS and 145 Nm, paired with either a 6-speed manual or CVT transmission. Fuel efficiency figures are claimed at 15.31 km/l (manual) and 16.92 km/l (CVT).

The updated Elevate will compete in the crowded compact SUV segment against rivals including Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Tata Sierra, Maruti Grand Vitara and Victoris, Toyota Hyryder, Skoda Kushaq, Volkswagen Taigun, Citroen Aircross, Renault Duster, MG Astor and Nissan Tekton. Current Elevate pricing ranges from 11.81 lakh to 16.36 lakh rupees (ex-showroom); the facelift is expected to be priced between 12 and 18 lakh rupees.
