Japanese entertainer Yumecchi, a member of the comedy trio 3-Jikan no Heroine, is releasing her first essay collection titled "Ero Kowai Hanashi" (Erotic Scary Stories) on August 3, 2026, published by Wani Books. The book explores Yumecchi's unique experiences where heightened erotic feelings coincide with supernatural encounters, presenting a fusion of adult humor and horror. The collection includes chapters such as "Erotic Spirit and Naughty Experiences," "Enlightenment Through Abstinence: The Ability to See Through One's Lower Body," "Why There Are Small Old Men But No Old Women," and "Living with a Succubus," alongside childhood ghost stories and accounts of haunted properties. Yumecchi, who has been a fan-favorite for her charismatic delivery of supernatural anecdotes since her breakthrough in 2019, expressed surprise at becoming an author despite her admitted difficulty with reading. She commented that the book combines humor, tears, and emotion while incorporating elements of cuteness she loves. The volume retails for 1,760 yen (tax included).
