Ukrainian defense firm Fire Point and German company Hensoldt have signed a memorandum of understanding to jointly develop the Freyja ground-based air defense anti-ballistic system. Under the terms of the partnership, Fire Point will serve as the prime contractor and will oversee the system's concept development, manufacture, testing, and supply of FP-7 missiles, launchers, and control systems. Hensoldt, the German defense firm, will be responsible for producing, testing, and supplying radar systems for the Freyja system, as well as supporting their integration into the overall platform.
