Russian actor Maksim Matveev endorses matriarchy, citing women's wisdom

Russian actor Maksim Matveev stated in an interview with Laura Jugelia that he believes women possess greater wisdom and creative capacity than men. Matveev asserted that female nature is more foundational to the world than male nature, attributing this partly to women's physiological role. He expressed hope that matriarchy would emerge globally, arguing it would prevent wars. "I very much hope that this happens," Matveev said. "I think that a woman has more wisdom hidden in her, partly due to her physiological role. Female nature comes first, rather than male nature. A woman by her nature is much more creative than a man."

Matveev, known for roles in the series "Trigger" and the film adaptation "Anna Karenina," was honored as a Merited Artist of Russia in 2018. He is married to actress Elizaveta Boyarskaya and has two sons. The actor's remarks reflect broader philosophical commentary on gender roles and societal organization rather than a political movement announcement.
