Tunisia Opens Applications for Military Officer and Non-Commissioned Officer Training Programs

Tunisia's Ministry of Defense has launched the application process for candidates who passed the 2026 Baccalaureate main exam to enroll in military and health academies for the 2026-2027 academic year. The initiative encompasses two competitive examinations: the first targets officer cadets (both male and female) for training at the Military Academy, Naval Academy, and Air Force School in Borj El Amri, while the second focuses on non-commissioned officers (both male and female) seeking qualifications in paramedical specialties through the Military Health Service.

The application period runs until July 19, 2026, and candidates can submit their applications through the Ministry of Defense website at www.defense.tn. The first competition serves multiple government branches including the Department of National Defense (Army, Navy, Air Force, and shared services), the Ministry of Interior (National Guard and Civil Protection), the Ministry of Finance (Customs), and the Ministry of Transport (Maritime Transport and Commercial Ports). The second competition exclusively serves the Military Health Service's paramedical programs, leading to a national license certificate.
