SCSK Launches AI-Powered Manufacturing Execution System PROACTIVE MES

SCSK announced on June 12, 2026, the release of PROACTIVE MES, an AI-driven manufacturing execution system designed to bridge the gap between enterprise planning and shop-floor execution. The platform seamlessly integrates with SCSK's ERP product PROACTIVE and other third-party systems via Web APIs and ETL connectivity, enabling end-to-end management from production planning through execution to accounting.

The system addresses a persistent challenge in manufacturing: the disconnect between ERP planning data and actual production floor performance. PROACTIVE MES includes standard modules for order sequencing, work instructions, progress tracking, performance collection and analysis, and quality management. AI algorithms automatically assign optimal work sequences based on worker skills, shift availability, and equipment status, enabling real-time responsiveness to emergency orders and production disruptions. The platform employs AI-OCR technology to digitize work instructions and inspection records, reducing manual data entry and human error while freeing staff to focus on core manufacturing tasks.

A key differentiator is the integrated 4M analysis dashboard powered by Google Cloud's generative AI Gemini. The dashboard visualizes production data according to ISO 22400 standards, analyzing personnel, machinery, materials, and methods to identify problems early and recommend improvement actions in report format. This integration enables managers to detect cost and inventory discrepancies instantly, supporting more accurate cost management and faster business decisions.

The solution addresses long-standing industry pain points, particularly for manufacturers managing high-mix, low-volume production or lacking standardized MES implementations. Many operations have relied on Excel-based tracking or custom systems, resulting in delayed cost visibility, lower delivery prediction accuracy, and slower response to equipment failures.
