Rockstar Reveals GTA 6 Cover Art, Pre-Orders Set for June 25

Rockstar Games has officially unveiled the cover artwork for Grand Theft Auto 6, offering fans a first detailed look at the game's visual identity. Alongside the reveal, the company announced that pre-orders for the highly anticipated title will go live on June 25, 2026. The artwork was shared through a 30-second teaser video on Rockstar's YouTube channel and across its social media platforms, where the high-resolution cover art is now available for download.

The cover features the game's dual protagonists, Lucia Caminos and Jason Duval, prominently positioned alongside a sports car, speedboat, motorbike, a flamingo, and a helicopter equipped with a minigun. Supporting characters, including real estate mogul and club owner Boobie Ike and veteran Vice City bank robber Raul Bautista, also appear on the cover. The reveal has fueled speculation that a third trailer or additional details about the game could drop on or around the same date pre-orders open.

One of the key questions remaining is the price of GTA 6. Industry rumors have suggested the standard edition could cost as much as $100, which would make it the most expensive standard video game release to date. Take-Two Interactive, the game's publisher, has repeatedly declined to commit to a specific price in investor calls. However, CEO Strauss Zelnick, speaking at the iicon conference in April, indicated the company aims to set a price that players perceive as fair. "Consumers pay for the value that you bring to them, and our job is to charge way way way less of the value delivery," Zelnick said. "How you feel about something you buy is the intersection of the thing itself and what you pay for. Consumers need to feel like the thing itself is amazing and the price they were charged was fair for what they got."

GTA 6 remains one of the most anticipated entertainment releases in history, building on the enduring success of GTA 5. While the exact launch price will only be confirmed when pre-orders begin, the game is scheduled to launch on November 19, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. Fans are now waiting to see whether June 25 will also bring the next full trailer or more gameplay details.
