Tangerang City Government has been selected as one of ten government institutions in Indonesia to implement the first phase of the E-Learning Platform for Integrity-Based Civil Servants (ASN Berintegritas), officially launched by the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) at the State Administration Institute (LAN) auditorium in Jakarta on June 17, 2026. The digital learning platform is designed to provide accessible anti-corruption training and integrity education to civil servants regardless of time and location constraints.
City Mayor Sachrudin, accompanied by the Head of the Personnel and Human Resources Development Board (BKPSDM) and the City Inspector, expressed pride in being selected as a pioneer for the program. The mayor emphasized that the platform represents both an honor and a significant responsibility, enabling Tangerang's civil servants to continuously strengthen their understanding of the importance of integrity in bureaucracy. He noted that the selection of ten initial institutions demonstrates the KPK's confidence in their commitment to anti-corruption efforts.
Tangerang City will integrate the KPK's E-Learning platform with its existing Gorvu platform, creating a comprehensive digital learning ecosystem accessible directly to city civil servants. According to Mayor Sachrudin, this collaboration will eliminate barriers to continuous professional development in ethics and integrity. The mayor stressed that integrity serves as the foundation for building public trust, and when civil servants work honestly, professionally, and with integrity, government performance and service quality to Tangerang residents will improve significantly.
The E-Learning ASN Berintegritas platform represents a national-scale innovation in digital learning infrastructure. It aims to enhance the capacity of civil servants while reinforcing anti-corruption commitments and promoting integrity values across government institutions. The platform's accessibility and flexibility are expected to facilitate widespread adoption and participation among Indonesia's civil service workforce.
Why This Matters
This pilot program demonstrates a strategic shift toward scalable digital anti-corruption training in Indonesian government. For civil servants and government institutions, it means accessible, continuous integrity education that can strengthen institutional compliance and reduce corruption risks. For citizens, improved civil servant training translates to better governance, increased public trust, and more efficient service delivery. The integration with existing systems like Gorvu shows practical commitment to implementation, making this a concrete step toward institutional reform rather than symbolic gesture.
