Russia’s Anna Kalinskaya opened her French Open campaign with a straight-sets victory over France’s Lois Boisson in Paris on Tuesday, moving into the second round of the clay-court major. The 22nd seed, competing under neutral status, won 6-2, 6-2 at Stade Roland Garros.
Kalinskaya, 27, is ranked No. 24 in the Women’s Tennis Association standings and has not yet won a WTA title. Her best Grand Slam result came at the 2024 Australian Open, where she reached the quarterfinals.
