The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is preparing to declare the results for the Class 10 second board exams conducted in 2026. Over 6.68 lakh students who participated in the examinations, held from May 15 to 21, are awaiting their scorecards. The results will be accessible on the official CBSE website, cbseresults.nic.in, as well as through other platforms such as cbse.gov.in, DigiLocker, and the UMANG app. Students will need their admit card details, date of birth, and roll number to view and download their marksheets.
According to CBSE data, a total of 6,68,854 regular candidates registered for the second board exams across compartment and improvement categories. Of these, 85,285 students enrolled specifically for compartment exams, while 5,25,655 registered for improvement exams. Additionally, 57,914 candidates registered for both compartment and improvement exams. The results will include subject-wise marks, total marks, grades, and qualifying status, along with personal details such as name, roll number, and date of birth.
This year marks the implementation of CBSE's new two-board-exam policy, which offers students a second opportunity to improve their academic performance if they are dissatisfied with their initial results. Science emerged as the most popular subject among candidates, followed by mathematics and social science.
