Friday’s Sports Schedule: MLB, WNBA and World Cup Highlights

Friday, June 19, is packed with sports action across Major League Baseball (MLB), the WNBA, and the FIFA World Cup group stage. In MLB, the Toronto Blue Jays face the Chicago Cubs at 2:20 p.m. EDT, followed by a full slate of games including the Chicago White Sox at Detroit, Cincinnati at the New York Yankees, and San Francisco at Miami. Evening matchups feature Washington at Tampa Bay, Milwaukee at Atlanta, and San Diego at Texas, among others, with the Los Angeles Angels at Oakland Athletics and Boston at Seattle capping the night.

In the WNBA, three games are scheduled: the Toronto Tempo visit the Connecticut Sun at 7:30 p.m., the Washington Mystics take on the New York Liberty also at 7:30 p.m., and the Minnesota Lynx travel to face the Golden State Valkyries at 10 p.m. All times are Eastern Daylight Time.
