Strong winds swept through the Brežice area of eastern Slovenia on June 17, 2026, causing tree damage and power outages. Multiple incidents were reported in the evening: around 20:59 local time, fallen trees blocked the road near Mali Obrež–Podvinje, and shortly after 21:19, several trees came down in the settlement of Podvinje.
