The BBC's Weather Watchers have been capturing stunning images from across the south of England, showcasing the beauty of Oxfordshire, Berkshire, Dorset, Hampshire and the Isle of Wight. The latest collection, published on 21 June, features photographs sent in over the past seven days, offering a relaxing glimpse into the region's landscapes and daily life.
Residents and visitors are encouraged to continue submitting their photos via BBC Weather Watchers or by emailing southweather@bbc.co.uk. For inspiration, the BBC provides top tips from three of England's Big Picture photographers. Submissions are more likely to be used if taken within the past week.
When sending images, contributors must include the full name of the photographer, confirmation of copyright permission for the BBC to use the picture across all its outputs, location, date and time, a contact telephone number, and any additional relevant details. The BBC notes that while all pictures are welcomed, not every submission can be published.
All submitted images become part of the South's Big Picture collection and may be shared on Instagram under the hashtags #bbcsouthnews and #BigPicture. Contributors retain copyright and will be credited if their image is used, but grant the BBC a royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to publish the material globally. The BBC reserves the right to edit comments and advises participants not to endanger themselves or break any laws while taking photographs.
