Meghan Markle to Co-Host Junior MasterChef Australia in 2027

Markle's 2027 co-hosting appointment represents a confirmed television engagement for the Duchess of Sussex following her guest judging stint's strong viewership (largest Sunday audience since 2023). The role involves two to three weeks of filming in Melbourne with contestants aged 9–13, after the main MasterChef season concludes. Key measurable outcomes: family logistics (potential temporary relocation from UK to Australia; unconfirmed); Network 10 and Paramount ANZ's commitment to the junior format; and whether the unpaid guest role leads to compensated ongoing television work. Previous ventures—her Netflix lifestyle series and As Ever brand—did not achieve strong audience metrics, making audience retention for the junior show a trackable performance indicator.
