Meteorologists have announced that this year’s ‘Night of Music’ festival in Yekaterinburg will take place under clear, dry conditions — marking the first time in three years that the event will not be affected by rain or thunderstorms.
According to Gismeteo forecasts, Friday 19 June will see daytime temperatures reaching up to +23°C, cooling to around +17°C by evening, with minimal wind and no expected precipitation. This marks a significant change from the previous two years: in 2024, heavy rain fell throughout the day, yet thousands still attended; in 2025, a thunderstorm began in the evening.
The annual music festival, held in Yekaterinburg since 2015, will feature performances across 106 city venues. More than 2,500 artists are scheduled to perform, including headliners Julia Savicheva, Sergey Bobunets, and groups such as ‘Chayf’, ‘TOP’, ‘SmeshBand’, ‘Sova’, ‘Yagoda’, and ‘Pizza’. Organizers hope the good weather will encourage even larger crowds to enjoy the open-air performances.
