Adam Sandler's 'Pixels' Airs on Trans TV Tonight, June 18, 2026

Bioskop Trans TV is set to broadcast the 2015 sci-fi comedy film 'Pixels' tonight, Thursday, June 18, 2026, at 8:00 PM WIB. Directed by Chris Columbus, known for 'Home Alone' and 'Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone', the film stars Adam Sandler, Kevin James, Josh Gad, and Michelle Monaghan.

The story begins in 1982, when a group of boys records an arcade game tournament video that NASA sends into space as a message of peace. However, aliens misinterpret the footage as a declaration of war. Decades later, Sam Brenner (Adam Sandler) works as a home theater installer, while his childhood friend Will Cooper (Kevin James) has become the President of the United States.

When aliens attack Earth using classic arcade game characters like Pac-Man and Donkey Kong, the U.S. government enlists Sam and his former gaming rivals—including Ludlow Lamonsoff (Josh Gad) and Eddie Plant (Peter Dinklage)—to fight the invasion. With the help of Lieutenant Colonel Violet van Patten (Michelle Monaghan), they must rely on their old-school gaming skills to save the planet.

'Pixels' runs 105 minutes and grossed US$ 244 million worldwide. The film holds a 5.4/10 rating on IMDb. After 'Pixels', Trans TV will air 'Jolt' at 10:00 PM WIB.
