D'Academy 8, the eighth season of Indonesia's dangdut talent search competition, has launched following completion of auditions held online and offline from April through May 2026. Auditions were conducted both online via KapanLagi.com from 10 April to 10 May 2026 and offline across multiple cities including Musi Banyuasin, Medan, Sidrap, Balikpapan, Cirebon, Surabaya, and Jakarta. Selected participants now advance to compete on the main stage, with the premiere episode of audition rounds airing on 22 June 2026, followed by live performances beginning 27 June 2026.
