Indonesian Super League club Persita Tangerang officially announced the departure of 13 players during the pre-season period ahead of the 2026-2027 campaign. The departures, announced by the club on Thursday, comprise four foreign players and nine domestic squad members whose contracts with the club have concluded.
The four foreign players departing are South Korean midfielder Bae Sin-yeong, Brazilian striker Matheus Alves, Montenegrin defender Dejan Racic, and Spanish player Ramon Bueno. On the domestic front, nine local players are leaving the club: Muhammad Toha, Andrean Benyamin, Ahmad Fahd, Badrian Ilham, Rafi Pamungkas, Jack Brown, Fairuz Ohorella, Cois Artomoro, and Tegar Infantrie.
The club's management described the squad overhaul as a vital step in preparation for the upcoming competition. "This release is part of the evaluation and formation process of the new Pendekar Cisadane squad ahead of the 2026-2027 competitive season, which is scheduled to begin in September," the club's official statement read. The departures coincide with the end of the previous season and the expiration of player contracts.
Persita Tangerang management expressed gratitude to all departing players for their contributions and dedication during their tenure at the club.
