Diomandé scores stunning goal as Real Madrid dominates Racing 3-0

Real Madrid defeated Racing Santander 3-0 in their 11th LaLiga match, with Yan Diomandé scoring a spectacular goal in the 36th minute. Kylian Mbappé opened the scoring from a controversial penalty in the 11th minute, followed by Jude Bellingham's goal in the 22nd minute assisted by Arda Güler. Diomandé's goal came after a corner kick deflected by Racing's defense; he struck the ball with his right foot from just outside the box, sending it into the top corner past goalkeeper Julen Agirrezabala.

Diomandé, signed as Real Madrid's most expensive acquisition in club history, has capitalized on Vinícius Jr.'s four-match suspension to establish himself as a regular starter. The Ivorian winger has now scored five goals this season—four in LaLiga—and provided three assists across his last six appearances. His defensive work rate and overall contribution have drawn praise from club figures, including legendary midfielder Toni Kroos, who emphasized the importance of off-ball effort for maintaining a starting position.

The match highlighted Real Madrid's current form following their recent 2-1 victory in the Clásico against Barcelona. Diomandé's impressive performance during Vinícius' absence has generated discussion about the Brazilian's future prominence in the starting lineup once his suspension concludes. The 21-year-old winger's adaptation to Real Madrid appears complete after an initial uncertain period, with multiple sources noting the competitive pressure he now presents for the wide attacking position.
