TV4 has officially announced that Lisa Borg, 36, and Lilla Al-Fadji, 46, will be among the contestants in the upcoming season of the dance competition 'Let's Dance'. The announcement was made during the morning program Nyhetsmorgon, confirming earlier reports from Aftonbladet that had revealed several participants.
Both Borg and Al-Fadji have limited dance experience. Borg, who described herself as 'livrädd' (terrified), admitted, 'It's embarrassing — people will watch and think, she can't do any better than that.' She recalled that her only dance background is cheerleading in high school, adding, 'I'm almost 40, so that is long expired.' Al-Fadji, a professional dancer, noted, 'I dance a lot — cha cha, salsa, merengue — but always in short bursts of three to four seconds. It will be interesting to dance longer sequences.'
Borg also shared her anxiety about taking on the physically demanding role just ten months after a difficult childbirth. 'I had such a terrible delivery and I haven't really moved until two months ago. That is also a scary thing — will I manage?' she said.
The show is returning in the fall with a refreshed format. David Hellenius will return as host, joined by Edvin Törnblom. 'Let's Dance' is moving from its traditional Saturday slot to Fridays. The premiere is set for August 21 on TV4 Play and TV4.

Why This Matters
The inclusion of two high-profile personalities with minimal dance experience, combined with a drastic format shift (from Saturday to Friday), signals TV4's strategic attempt to rejuvenate the franchise. For viewers, this means a more unpredictable, emotionally charged competition and a new weekly appointment.
