New leadership at Indonesia’s National Nutrition Agency (BGN) has begun reviewing stalled procurement assets left over from the previous administration, including motorcycles, laptops, and tablets purchased under the 2025 state budget. The effort aims to maximise the use of state assets and ensure legal compliance.
Vice Head and Spokesperson of BGN, Agustina Arumsari, confirmed that the agency is conducting a full inventory of all goods that have not yet been distributed to regional Nutrition Service Units (SPPG). The items include fleets of motorcycles, laptops, tablets, and minor logistics such as socks.
"Yes, later we will also request information from the Attorney General's Office. The main point is that overall, not just motorcycles, all items procured in 2025, including IT equipment, we want to maximise their use," Arumsari said at the Parliament Complex in Senayan, Central Jakarta, on Monday (15 June 2026).
To ensure legal certainty and orderly management of state assets, BGN has officially coordinated with the Attorney General’s Office. This step is intended to address any legal issues related to the stalled procurements and to prevent future inefficiencies in the use of public funds.
