Didit Hediprasetyo, son of President Prabowo Subianto, met with former President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) at his residence in Sumber, Banjarsari, Solo, Central Java, on Thursday, June 18, 2026. The closed-door meeting lasted approximately 30 minutes, with Didit arriving around 10:02-11:10 WIB in a white Toyota Alphard, carrying books and a backpack. He was dressed in a white long-sleeved shirt and black trousers.
During the meeting, Jokowi personally accompanied Didit to the gate of his residence. As Didit was departing, he performed the respectful gesture of kissing Jokowi's hand while bowing, before entering his vehicle. Jokowi, who was also wearing a white shirt, did not provide any comments to media regarding the meeting.
Didit explained to journalists that his visit to Solo was a brief stopover following his participation in the 1 Suro night procession (kirab malam 1 Suro) at Pura Mangkunegaran on the evening of June 16. He stated simply, "I just stopped by after 1 Suro to visit Mr. Jokowi's place." The 1 Suro procession, which commemorates the Javanese New Year, was attended by thousands of participants and various notable guests including government officials, politicians, and celebrities.
