Rizky Billar Files Police Report Against 6 Accounts for Slander, Closes Door on Settlement

Indonesian actor Rizky Billar has taken a firm legal stance by reporting six social media accounts to the Jakarta Metro Police over the spread of defamatory content. The reports were lodged at the police's SPKT unit on Wednesday evening, June 17, 2026, at around 8:00 PM local time. The legal action follows the emergence of false narratives on platforms such as YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram accusing Billar of infidelity, fathering an extramarital child, and attempting to divorce his wife, singer Lesti Kejora. The allegations also dragged in young singer Asila Maisa, daughter of presenter Ramzi, whom the hoax stories claimed was involved with Billar.

Through his legal representative Sadrakh Seskoadi, Billar confirmed that while he and his family have personally forgiven the account owners, the criminal process will continue. "Forgiveness does not erase the criminal nature of the act. The legal process remains ongoing," Sadrakh stated at a press conference in Kembangan, West Jakarta, on Thursday, June 18, 2026. He emphasized that the decision to pursue legal channels was made to protect the family's dignity and to deter similar actions in the future.

Investigations suggest a financial motive behind the slander, with indications that some parties used AI technology to produce the hoax content in order to boost personal income. Sadrakh noted that the reports target six accounts across three different platforms. The legal team has prepared multiple charges under the new Criminal Code (KUHP), with potential prison sentences ranging from five to fifteen years for defamation, slander, and spreading hoaxes that cause public unrest.

Billar's wife Lesti Kejora has fully supported her husband's decision to pursue legal action. According to Sadrakh, Lesti's backing stems from her own past experiences with false rumors, including a previous hoax involving a giveaway scheme. The police report is currently being processed and is expected to be handled by the Cyber Crime Directorate of Polda Metro Jaya.

The legal team stressed that while Billar has not suffered material losses, the social and reputational damage has been severe, affecting not only him but also innocent parties dragged into the false narratives. With the door to an out-of-court settlement now closed, the case is set to proceed through the formal criminal justice system.
