Bella Moura Graduates from British School in Ukraine One Month After Wedding to Young Footballer

Bella Moura, 18, celebrated her graduation from a British school in Lviv, Ukraine on June 25, 2026, one month after marrying footballer Isaque Silva, also 18. The daughter of former Flamengo defender Léo Moura, Bella relocated to Ukraine at the beginning of 2026 to be with her husband, who plays for Shakhtar Donetsk. The graduation ceremony was attended by her mother, Camila Moura, a psychologist, who travelled to Lviv for the occasion.

Bella and Isaque were married on May 24, 2026, in an intimate ceremony at a restaurant in Barra da Tijuca, a neighbourhood in Rio de Janeiro's west zone. The couple opted for a reserved celebration with close family and friends, with plans to host a larger party later. During the wedding, Isaque expressed gratitude to his in-laws for trusting him and allowing Bella to relocate abroad, describing their marriage as fulfilling his most important dream. Léo Moura, unable to attend the graduation in person, delivered an emotional speech at the wedding and later posted a video tribute on social media congratulating his daughter on her achievement.

In a social media post, Bella reflected on the significant challenges she faced while pursuing her education abroad. She described the adaptation to a British curriculum and studying in English—a non-native language—as enormous obstacles, accompanied by fear, homesickness, and moments of doubt. However, she credited her faith and family support for sustaining her through these difficulties. Her mother also shared her pride, writing that she was moved by Bella's courage and the maturity with which she approached love and life at such a young age.

Isaque Silva began his football career in Fluminense's youth academy at age 10, progressing through the club's formation system before making his professional debut in 2024. He made 12 appearances for Fluminense without scoring or assisting before being transferred to Shakhtar Donetsk after turning 18, the minimum age for international player transfers. Bella and Isaque now reside in Lviv, situated near the Polish border and outside the main epicentre of the Russia-Ukraine war. Despite her relocation, Bella continues her studies at the Cambridge-certified British school in the city.
