A California-based automotive performance tuning company, Burger Motorsports, has announced it will temporarily shut down operations on November 19, 2026, the launch day of Grand Theft Auto 6 (GTA 6), citing the game's massive cultural significance and scheduling conflicts among employees.

The company, known for manufacturing the JB4 performance tuner, posted an internal notice on Instagram stating that several team members have informed management they will be "unavailable, unreachable, and/or 'in Vice City'" on the release date. As a result, the company will pause all business activities, including customer support, order processing, shipping, engineering, and social media.

Burger Motorsports management described GTA 6 as an "unprecedented cultural event" and noted that normal operations would resume only after employees have completed their initial exploration and at least one in-game mission. The decision effectively grants all staff a paid day off to play the highly anticipated title.
