Raphinha Hat-Trick Powers Barcelona Past Sevilla 3–1, Extends Perfect Start

Barcelona extended their unbeaten LaLiga record to seven consecutive wins with a 3–1 victory over Sevilla on September 19, 2026, at the Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán Stadium. Raphinha scored his second hat-trick in three days, following his three-goal performance against Racing Santander earlier in the week. The Brazilian winger's performance, supported by two assists from Lamine Yamal, showcased Barcelona's attacking dominance under manager Hansi Flick.

Sevilla took an early lead through Youssouf Fofana's header in the 19th minute after Félix Correia's cross from the left. Barcelona responded within three minutes as Raphinha capitalized on a through ball from Andreas Christensen, beating goalkeeper Odysseas Vlachodimos with a low shot into the corner. The score remained 1–1 at halftime despite Sevilla's continued pressing.

Barcelona accelerated their attack after the interval. Raphinha headed in his second goal in the 52nd minute following a lofted cross from Yamal. He came close to a third goal five minutes later when his shot struck the post. Raphinha completed his hat-trick in the 69th minute when Yamal slipped a through ball behind Sevilla's defense, allowing the Brazilian to execute a precise chip finish over Vlachodimos.

The result maintains Barcelona's perfect seven-game record with 21 points, six points clear of second-placed Real Madrid, who had a game in hand. Raphinha has now scored 12 goals in seven LaLiga matches, putting him on pace to surpass his career-best tally of 18 league goals set two seasons ago. Sevilla remain in fifth place with 13 points after their second defeat of the season. Barcelona have also scored 31 goals across their seven league matches, averaging more than four goals per game under Flick.
