Dead by Daylight Adds Terrifier Chapter with Art the Clown and Sienna Shaw

Behaviour Interactive Inc. announced a collaboration chapter featuring the Terrifier horror film series for the asymmetrical multiplayer horror game Dead by Daylight. The Public Test Build launched on Steam on October 29, 2026, introducing two playable characters: Art the Clown as a Killer and Sienna Shaw as a Survivor. The chapter is scheduled for official release across PC (Steam and Epic Games Store), PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One and Series, and Nintendo Switch on November 24, 2026.

Art the Clown, the serial killer protagonist of the Terrifier films, possesses a unique ability called Bag of Toys that allows him to pull random weapons from his trash bag—including a flail, flamethrower, firearm, acid-filled jar, and bicycle horn. Each successful hit increases a weapon's lethality, and each weapon includes a dedicated Mini-Mori execution animation. Art has three unique perks: Funny Business (grants temporary movement speed and random effects when damaging generators), Kill Spree (allows killing Survivors when all generators are repaired and all Survivors reach their second hook stage), and Laughingstock (inflicts Exhausted and Oblivious status on Survivors near completed generators). The chapter marks the debut of killer-exclusive emotes, with Art's signature pose showing him pointing and laughing at hooked Survivors.

Sienna Shaw, a protagonist from the Terrifier films, joins as a new Survivor character with three unique perks: Best Gift Ever (dropping held items grants powerful passive abilities), Shared Trauma (allows nearby Survivors to recover from Exhausted status while running after taking a protection hit), and Valkyrie's Rage (enables extra-powerful pallet stuns after being chased). Alongside the new characters, Behaviour Interactive introduced The Hartshorne Mall, an original map inspired by liminal spaces. The map depicts a shopping mall warped by The Entity into an eerie reflection of its former self, featuring unsettling storefronts and corridors. The map includes lore references to existing Survivor Dwight Fairfield, who experienced a traumatic childhood encounter with The Entity in the mall.

The Terrifier film series is known for extreme violence and shocking content. Sources note that the films have generated significant viewer reactions, with reports of fainting and nausea associated with theatrical screenings.
