Hurts leads Eagles past Titans 24-20 with game-winning TD in extreme heat

The game was played in extreme conditions, with turf temperatures reaching 157 degrees Fahrenheit and air temperatures hitting 98 degrees in the fourth quarter. Despite the heat and earlier struggles, Hurts completed 26 of 37 passes for 264 yards, two touchdowns, and two interceptions. DeVonta Smith had 10 receptions for 117 yards, while Tank Bigsby added a rushing touchdown. The Eagles' defense forced two interceptions, with one by Marcus Harris setting up Tennessee's go-ahead field goal.

The victory improved Philadelphia to 2-0 on the season and extended Hurts' streak to six consecutive road opener wins—a personal career milestone. Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni improved to 2-0 for the fourth time in his tenure, the most by any Eagles coach in franchise history.
